DAS type Solids Handling Pumps

DESCRIPTION

Das type submersible sewage pumps are designed to pump are designed to pump liquids containing large solid particles (Ø35 to Ø150 mm). The motor of the pump is designed to operate under water. Therefore these pumps should be operated immersed in water in a sump or a reservoir.

Can handle sandy water of maximum concentration of 6 % with 20-30 mm maximum grain diameter.

Temperature of pumped liquid should not exceed 40^oC.

Special precaution should be taken for pumping liquids of densities higher than 1.2 gr/cm³ and viscosities higher than 1.5 x 10^-6 m²/s

FEATURES

• Externally cooled submersible electric motors in3 phase, 400/690 V (230/400 V on request), 50/60 Hz frequencies available, F class insulation and IP68 protection class.
• Single channel, double channel and vortex type impellers employed.
• Pumps supported by heavy duty grease lubricated ball bearings.
• High quality mechanical seal with silicon carbide/silicon carbide faces operating in an oil bath.
• Thermal protection incorporated in the motor windings and water leakage probe in the oil chamber.
• Suitable for continuous operation with minimum submergence up to terminal box and maximum 10m deep^*1
• Pumps painted with red synthetic undercoat and coal tar epoxy over evokrom primer.
• Discharge flanges drilled to PN 16.
• Pumps tested to ISO 2858 class C.
