Split-case CEP type pumps

DESIGN

  • The Turbo-CEP series pumps designed for general purposes are made up of double entry, single stage with casings axially split.

  • Mounting arrangements are available in both horizontal and vertical forms.

  • Turbo-CEP series comprise of 27 different sizes and conform to Turkish Standards Institute (TSE).

  • Removal of upper half of the casings allow easy pump inspection, maimtenance and removal of entire rotating elements without disturbing piping or motor and pump alignment.

  • Turbo-CEP series are fitted with casing wear rings with impeller wear rings provided on request.
  • Turbo-CEP series pumps cover the range from 30 up to 3000 litres/sec with manometric head from 8 to 175 meters.
  • Pumps are assembled for clokckwise rotation when seen from driver end. Direction of rotation can be changed optionally.

 

IMPELLER

  • Due to the impeller being of double suction:

         No axial thrust exerted on bearrings

        Pump can be operated at relatively unfavorable suction conditions.

  • Every impeller is balanced statically and dynamically.

 

BEARING ASSEMBLY

  • The pump shaft is supported by two heavy-duty type bearings of 6300 and 3300 series with grease lubrication. Depending on the operation condition oil-lubricated bearings can be used.

  • The bearing bracket is carefully sealed off on both sides to prevent water or contaminents from seeping in.

 

SHAFT SEAL

  • Standatd stuffing box packing and lantern ring are used. Stuffing box gland cen be removed completely from pump for easy packing addition and replacement. The shaft is protected by renewable shaft protecting sleeve in the region of the stuffing box.

  • Mechanical seal and water chamber for cooling can be supplied optionally.
